2024 Honda Pilot Black Edition Model, Specs, Price – The 2024 Pilot is one of the best midsize SUVs on the market, thanks to its strong acceleration and handling, spacious interior, and ample load space. The Pilot comes with a vast range of standard features, although discriminating techies may find the infotainment system a bit complicated. Furthermore, even though the Pilot has many active safety features, its crash test scores and overall safety score aren’t excellent for its class.
However, the Honda Pilot does come with a Special Edition package that includes a pair of black alloy wheels. The 2024 Pilot Black Edition adds even more swagger, but we’re not sure it’s sufficient. Low-beam LED headlights and foglights are regular equipment by all standards. A one-touch control moonroof and a motorized tailgate are typical on all versions. A panoramic roof is public by elite means. Depending on the trim, reel sizes range from 18 – 20 inches.
Redesign of the Honda Pilot 2024
The SUV’s front end features a massive chrome-finished grille, LED headlights, and LED DRLs. Substantial alloy reels provide excellent traction on all road surfaces and generate long-term dynamic dominance. Incorporating athletic curves throughout the shoulders makes the body agile while cornering and keeps it stable at high speeds. The car’s load capacity is predicted to expand with a longer body.
The Pilot comes in six different colors for the basic trim, including Crystal Black, Modern Steel, Lunar Silver, and Obsidian Blue. The $395 unique hues are Platinum White Pearl and Steel Sapphire Metallic. Fortunately, as you progress up the range, different hues become accessible. The Touring and Elite add a new unique color to the EX-list: L’s Deep Scarlet. The Black Edition comes in only two colors: Crystal Black and Platinum White, whereas the Special Edition comes in six: Crystal Black, Lunar Silver, Modern Steel, and three additional extraordinary hues.
The inside of the Pilot is roomy and practical, with family-friendly features like an in-cabin PA system. Most trim levels provide a three-across second row for eight people who need to seat eight people. The bench is replaced with two captain’s chairs in the most expensive models, bringing the total number of passengers down to seven.
The dashboard of the Pilot has easy-to-use climate controls and an indicated gauge cluster, as well as 16 cupholders across the interior. The Pilot’s elevated seating position provides a commanding perspective of the road, and its expansive windows and thin, inconspicuous roof pillars provide best-in-class visibility. This Honda boasts a massive cargo compartment and numerous inside storage cubbies. It’s one of the roomiest SUVs in its class. However, the cargo capacity differs between the seven-and eight-seat configurations due to a second-row center console that can’t be removed on the Elite and seven-seat Touring versions.
The SUV, which produces roughly 283 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, gives off a strong feeling of power. The 2022 Pilot has a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine and a ZF 9-speed automatic transmission, which is now standard. 79The SUV might gain seconds in the 0-60 mph race with a longer, lower stance and a lighter body.
The 2024 Honda Pilot can accelerate from 0–60 mph in 6.2 seconds and complete a quarter-mile in 14.6 seconds, making it the fastest vehicle in its class. Competitors such as the Ascent and Toyota Highlander have identical acceleration times of 6.2 seconds and 7.3 seconds. The Honda Pilot drives well for an SUV in this class and provides a comfortable ride for its occupants on the inside.
