2024 Honda Pilot Touring Engine, Specs, Review – The Pilot, one of the most popular mid-size SUVs, is back for another run in 2024, with more features as usual than ever before. The LX and EX model levels of the Honda Pilot will no longer be offered in 2024, but it will come standard with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and LED headlights. Sonic Gray Pearl is a new color for the 2024 Pilot.
The Pilot’s frame, according to Honda, contains more high-grade steel than any other car it produces. It also got the best safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) regarding front and side collisions. The IIHS said of the Pilot: “Top Safety Pick.”
Honda will redesign the Pilot Touring in 2024.
There’s not much to say here, and we believe the Honda Pilot’s look is one of its worst flaws; a makeover has been long overdue. In true Honda style, the Pilot is practical, has many standard features, and gets good gas mileage, but it doesn’t have the most up-to-date design.
A massive chrome-finished grille and LED headlights, and LED DRLs adorn the SUV’s front end. Substantial alloy wheels provide excellent traction on all surfaces and long-term dynamic supremacy. Incorporating athletic curves throughout the shoulders makes the body agile during cornering and stable at high speeds. The vehicle’s freight capacity is predicted to grow with a longer body.
Honda has always prided itself on offering luxurious interiors that are functional and engaging. The 2024 Honda Pilot exudes a good balance of luxury and performance from its interior spaciousness. The inside space has a fascinating look and feels thanks to the ruggedness and luxury touch. The inside of the fourth-generation car is expected to be different, and the infotainment system will be better.
A traditional backseat entertainment system is now available for rear passengers. The top-tier Touring model includes front seat memory and heated exterior mirrors with integrated turn signals. The voice-activated Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System with an integrated rearview camera, standard on the Pilot Touring and optional on the EX-L, is perhaps the most enticing feature.
The potent powerplant under the hood of any Honda vehicle is its biggest asset. The power numbers have significantly increased due to constant development and a new design approach. The 2024 Honda Pilot has a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine and a ZF 9-speed automatic transmission, which are now standard. The SUV boasts strong performance with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet torque. The SUV could gain seconds in the 0-60 mph sprint thanks to a longer, lower stance and a lighter body.
The Honda Pilot 2024 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in roughly 6.2 seconds and complete a quarter-mile in 14.8 seconds, making it the fastest vehicle in its class. The Subaru Ascent and Toyota Highlander rivals have similar acceleration times of 6.9 and 7.2 seconds. The Pilot is a good SUV for its style and gives its passengers a good ride.
